  1. Those would fit. Stretched as heck and would look very bad unless you slammed the car to close the wheel gap.
  2. Fronts are exactly the same. Its only the rears that change. 79-81 head "elephant ear" calipers, while 82-83 have ones similar to a 240sx rear caliper. Not only are the rear calipers different, but the control arm bolt holes are actually different. Coincidentally Porsche calipers will fit the early style bolt pattern.
  3. There is a very extensive thread started by josh280z about the japanese making 400hp NA drag motors. It may shed some insight.
  4. SR20, On a side note I did a z32/5 lug swap on my s13 daily. Need to do the back still
  5. I would not go variable springs. I'd prefer a linear set, problem is those will be lower and harsher unless you have them custom made in softer rates.
  6. Try using a 3rd party image hosting service like photobucket or imageshack
  7. If you mean just the valve on the intake, you can remove it and block it with an npt allen plug. but then I would run the block and valve cover into a catch can. If you just block everything off you will blow your valve cover gasket every day.
  8. What kind of shocks are you pairing this with and what kind of driving do you plan on doing? street mostly or autocross?
  9. Well I have both housings with uncut harness, and 1 amber cover. The other one was broken. you can have them for $20 shipped. PM me your phone number and I'll send a pic.
  10. Sweet. Man if I hadn't crashed my 2+2 I'd still be rocking it.
  11. This past weekend I pulled my L28ET and sold it
  12. Just weighed my s13 5 speed and it was about 88lbs. Bathroom scale. so I figure a little less than that for a 4 speed.
  13. Yeah I don't know why I said fender, but that's the recirculating ball steering. Gollum I don't think they all came like that, I parted an 81 out and it had regular power steering.
  14. Do you have a picture of it? I'm not sure what the vacuum tank is?
  15. Are you planning on leaving the top exposed or will you cover that up with another sheet?
  16. Got a chance to weigh most of my stuff before I sell it. I will be comparing these items to the ones I'm going to use on my SR20 (so turbo mani+turbo compared to the SR turbo mani+turbo) Turbo elbow: 5lbs Turbo and turbo Mani (wrapped): 35lbs N42 intake shaved no egr +cockerstar fuel rail and injectors: 15lbs ECU and harness: 8-10lbs Jpipe: 1-2 lbs K&n cone filter, stock rubber pipes to afm and to turbo: 10lbs Oil pan with like 1/8 qt oil in it still: 8lbs MSA cup holder: 4lbs Tranny shift cover and boots 2lbs Ttop one side only: 10lbs x2 Tools I normally carry in the car: 12-14lbs
  17. Just bought a scale. Weighed the hood of my car, without the torsen bar and it ame out to about 44lbs. Also weighed my front tire and it was 40lbs. Tomorrow I will weight my N42 intake, turbo, turbo mani, downpipe, jpipe and ECU/harness. Does anyone know the weight of the MSA 6-2-1 headers?
  18. Hmm if I can use the stock ZX speedo gear, then I can harvest the speedo gear off my other tranny for my s13 5 speed swap.
  19. The actual material is a difference. an R compound will almost always outgrip a "extreme summer" tire. The compromise is that you get a longer life from the tire. The BFgoodwrench Rivals are damn near about r comps though. I've run the Khumo Ecsta XS, and I'm currently on Hankook Ventus RS-3's. Both of which I love. All are very sticky street tires. My brother drives an integra type r and uses Dunlop Direzza DZ101's and loves them, but when I tried them they slid more than the old version of the Hankook RS3's I had. I did not like them as a performance tire, but they definitely had lasting power.
  20. Forever. I still have a warning from 4 years ago when I was parting out my friends car and had listed it here. Nelsonian, these are the warning points that appear under your post count, that can only be seen by you or an admin. Just to throw it out there, the admins are the only people can remove or give them. The only instance I've seen on them being removed is when the admin who gave me the points looked at the amount of posts I had and realized that people are human and sometimes make mistake, or their phone has a crappy autocorrect. He then took off a few points.
  21. You should probably get some bigger tires. It'll look a lot better.
  22. So it works with the 240sx speed sensor? not 100% on how programmable speedo's work. Guessing it takes a reading from the 240sx sensor and you input correct speed values and it creates some sort of plot to go by.
