  1. You can't just plug in the sensor to the EBC. The sensor needs a controller, if you don't want to datalog you can just run the LC-1. I've heard lots of good thing's from the Innovate products. Mario
  2. I edited my post... sorry.... I know there is someone who has stated the above... I'll try finding who it was. Mario
  3. It reminds me of the TWM induction kit, which is about $2700. The second fuel rail seems to be for laughing gas. Mario
  4. Check here: http://www.megamanual.com/v22manual/mass.htm There are multiple sections to test, but the last one is the output section. Also try posting about it in the msefi.com forums, they might be able to pinpoint the problem closer. Mario
  5. You Are 60% Cynical Yes, you are cynical, but more than anything, you're a realist. You see what's screwed up in the world, but you also take time to remember what's right. How Cynical Are You? http://www.blogthings.com/howcynicalareyouquiz/
  6. Is it at least saving the settings that you inputted right? If so, then go through the build checks on the megasquirt.info page to see if you can isolate the part that isn't working. Mario
  7. What I meant is that if you go with forged pistons, get them in flat tops, they are custom anyways so you can dictate pretty much any compression with them. Mario
  8. Can you host them on like google video or youtube? The hybridz servers are way too slow when it comes to video.... and I really want to see this. Thanks, Mario
  9. 350 @ 12psi might be a bit much. One thing is for sure, a worked P90 and FLAT TOP forged pistons for the best quench and off boost response is what I'd go for, with around 8.5:1 compression and a metal headgasket and o-ringed block. Mario
  10. Try reflashing it again, but then open MegaTune, connect to the box, and DO NOT load values. Save the MSQ and with the box CONNECTED and POWERED ON edit the values. Again, don't load an MSQ, edit them by hand (each thing one by one like on the sticky). When it doesn't hold values like this it is usually caused by corruption when you load an MSQ on a box that's never really been configured. Once you have typed everything and burned them, cycle power to the box and double check that nothing changed. Once you do this once then you'll be able to edit values with the box disconnected and burn them by connecting it and loading the MSQ. Mario
  11. Wow awesome!!! There's so much space you shoulda gone for a v-mount Lucky guy.... Mario
  12. My ex-roommate is from there. He says it really sucks for young people because there is nothing to do... but I'm in college so what'd you expect Mario
  13. Can't see your pics. It looks like you forgot to put the ".JPG" at the end of each one. Looks awesome!!!
  14. Take off your caliper, twist it around, and put it back on. Try to make it so that it doesn't rub the fender wall or the strut tube either, braided lines will rub through paint. Mario
  15. Someone (not Tony D) has always said that the L engine crank has some terrible harmonics at around 8.5k rpm. There is something that can be done about it though, considering the LSR car runs 9k rpm. If you're wondering how to make your engine rev higher, a good balance job, forged pistons, better valve springs, and you're pretty much set (what I've been told). What is highly recommended is an aftermarket damper, with an upgraded bolt and washer. Mario
  16. It might be for show since that's where the spectators were. Cool vid, but man the shots of the 240z are terrible. Mario
  17. Please enlighten me as to why do people run so much thicker oil on their race engines? Thanks, Mario PS Chevron 10w-30
  18. You can easily remove the sensors. Removing the fill plug can be a potential headache, or a complete peice of cake. To stop the tranny from grinding, make sure you are completely stopped. Shift into first (or second, whichever works, try each out) and then reverse. That should get rid of the grind. Good luck and welcome! Mario
  19. Wow! I wonder if that works! I know the defrosters on the ZX and all the new cars use the dryer from the AC to get the moisture out of the air to defrost the window better. Some clame cold dry air works best. Maybe I'll do the same thing but with a bag of silica pellets on the intake side.... Maro
  20. I need to cancel the EGR on my 6-3-2 headers. Was is the thread size? Is it metric? If so I'm guessing 22mm, but none of the parts stores have them. The EGR tube in my 280z came broken, so I don't feel like forking over some insane amount for one that isn't (plus the original EGR was completly stuffed so it's blocked off already).... Almost done installing the headers which are then going to be full twice pipes back. Can't wait till it's done =) Mario
  21. Flood damage car? Looks really scary. If the mirrors are good that's already just the price of the car! Mario
  22. I really like the mesh but I think the frame is a tad too think. Looks good though, and it does a decent job of hiding the IC. Mario
