  1. I believe the 2+2's have an R-200 which is stronger then the R-180 in the 240z. I'd look for a different transmission. The 2-3 gear shift is killer and some have problems with the 5th gear. What about other sheet metal just in case? Mario
  2. Wow 350z injectors are small! Are they top or side feed? O-ring or barbed? Still not much of an improvement over stock turbo injectors. Mario
  3. If there's no visible coolant by the master I think you should be able to get by on a rebuild kit for the slave if it isn't scored/rusted/pitted. Probably a new line as well. Mario
  4. I always thought it was a little balancing scale. On other forums, the whole reputation meter is more "important"; not so much here, cuz it's always a great bunch of people here. Mario
  5. It's so hard to install the flywheel with the auto tranny spacer though... Was the flywheel resurfaced? It might be insanely glazed (probably is now...) causing the slip. Mario
  6. With and without a tie and a big red "Z" on the hat. Mario
  7. Jeez your drawings are getting way better and better! Looks amazing! Mario
  8. Haha, what kind of tie do you want? I changed mine to my AIM one... Mario
  9. A friend of mine split the frame at the seam between the wall behind the seats and the hatch. This was a long time ago in a Z with some rust, a 350, and a 4 speed manual. But... he really beats the crap out of cars... Mario
  10. Yea, either dust particles on the lense, or it was taken through dirty glass, or there was dust particles in the air and when you take a pic with the flash they show up like that. Mario
  11. The car looks absolutely gorgeous (as ever ), but some of the angles made it seem disproportioned. Congrats! Mario
  12. I guess I'll be the dissenter here.... there's nothing more to look forward to in college then the parties in the weekend... except maybe vacation and graduation... Mario
  13. Also, in a L manifold, isn't one of the major bottlenecks the runner diameter? So... I don't recommend doing something like that on a stock Datsun intake... I'd go with the Q45 TB if possible. Mario
  14. Oh that sucks! Can I borrow your M roadster?? Just kidding... get well (hopefully) soon! Mario
  15. There are hints of a 350z overhaul in 2007, dunno if the G will get the same.... Are you getting a 2 door or 4 door? Mario
  16. I too know nothing about books to recommend, I'm studying Computer Engineering (Comp Sci and EE mix, but with more emphasis on EE). One thing to note: Volts * Amps = Watts For the house switch: 120v * 2 amps (guess) = 240 watts (rating of the switch) Automotive: 12v * 15 amps (driving lights?) = 180 watts (needed rating for the switch) I personally don't feel like there would be any problems powering some driving lights with these switches, and if it's a relay, even less, since relays don't take very much power to operate. Mario
  17. I also have an NA tranny on my turbo car that has survived the punishment. Plus I hear the T-5 is a lot notchier then the Nissan one. The good thing about the T-5 is that short throw shifters are a lot easier to find. Now would an NA help towards a turbo car? If I had the space and the money, I'd get it just to start getting a collection of spare nuts, bolts, parts (t-tops/tail lights/etc). Plus you can also part it out and sell and recoup some losses... FAQ Acronym Page

    MSnS-E = MegasSquirt n Spark-Extra MAF = Mass Air Flow (meter/sensor) There's probably a million of them. Mario
  19. I believe there are some subtle or "street flares". It's either MSA or Black Dragont that carries them. Mario
  20. Would it really be necessary to cap them? I'm wondering that if at WOT at a high rpm if there would really be a significant difference cause by the other valves being closed becaused they'd be closed for such a short time. (just thinking outloud) Mario
  21. Ahh, ok, well according to the Yokohoma page, 235/60/15's are "approved" for 6.5 to 8.5 in wheels. I believe the snowflakes are 6.5in wide, at least I'm 97% sure the swats are... Mario
  22. Looks like some sort of bird feeder.... Zfury that looks awesome! But it might be a tad hard to drive at night Mario
  23. Wow, that's insane but I can't stand the top black stripe.... Mario
