Generally, they aren't up to par. Most of them (not all) aren't tempered glass. So eventually they will crack. I mean couple months of use. The close proximity light dispersion is good, but anything over 15-20 feet would need aux lights.
Uhh..... I think he's reffering to breaking "IN" an engine. Am I right?
Short answer is yes. Generally, higher RPMs = more gas. Now there are load factors that can very the amount of gas used.
you can't use a 240sx steering rack inless you take the whole front suspension from a 204sx, because of the way its mounted and designed. Simply put, you steer left, it will make the car turn right and vise versa. search.
IIRCC there is a tensioner thing on the ebrake cable in the tranny tunnel that you can tighten. But after many years, I'm sure that the cable has stretched enough to the point where even that won't help. I need to check to see if I need to replace mine also.
Make sure you are using the same type paint.
enamel with enamel
lacquer with lacquer
and don't even use latex paint on auto body.
The result will be cracking paint, even if it looks good now. Later down the road, it will eventually crack.
I might as well ask, since I have never read anything on the subject.
Has anyone used a steering column from another (make/model) car. Reason I ask is because of the static column that they come with (s30). And I'm sure that there are lighter and more convenient ones out there that can be used.
Now I read somewhere a while ago, that you can use the strut off of a mazda or a VW (I don't remember), but you need to drill out the top hat in order for the shaft to fit. Which one was this again?
I don't think it would be the torque converter. I haven't heard of a torque converter grinding before. Maybe its the input and/or output shaft bearings.
