  4. Why? Because it is adding volume and friction to a pressure system. How much? All depends on how poorly you match you components. There is no shortage of information on things like this.
  5. I do not know why I'm unable to quote properly on this forum, but my response was to the comment "...Never look back go as big as you can. Its almost impossible to have to big an intercooler." There is a reason that intercoolers are built in variety of sizes, and putting a 1000hp capable cooler on an engine that can't make 300hp will do little but add weight and lag. There are so many affordable intercoolers now a days it makes no sense at all to improperly size one.
  6. This is just such bad advice. Too large an intercooler can create an extremely laggy car. I do agree shoot for the coolest air you can get, but you can absolutely overkill an intercooler.
  7. I know a very good injector guy here in GA. He cleaned flowed and installed new baskets in my bosche's recently. I'm sure he could help you diagnose them. LMK if you want his contact info.

  9. That's 2400 yen, right? The Jatco 3n71 was built for over 20 years, the 4n71 an additional 15. They where installed in Datsun, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Ford, Dodge, and other makes. Pay their tow bill and get it to a reasonable shop. For $3700 you can have a 2000 hp powerglide.
  10. I have a set of turbo injectors, they were just cleaned and flowed with new filter baskets installed. $140 shipped with flow sheet included.

  14. Does the problem occur on or off throttle? And/or on or off brakes?
  15. If you have upgrades springs in the rear you should have them on the front. Your post is unclear whether or not the tokicos are on the front. I would say that could make the nose dive, thus loosening the rear. Also the zx uses a very large fuel tank at almost the furthest rearward point. The amount of fuel in that tank can change the balance of the car quite significantly-don't ask me how I know.
  16. Pretty sure all the Datsun guys are gone from Balanced. Doug at top speed is a really great tuner, his dyno is a lil on the "happy" side though.
  17. Get a shifter from a 4 speed the throw is slightly shorter. Don't know why you couldn't find that because it is well documented here.
  18. I have a set that ran a few months ago. I pulled them last week and had them cleaned flowed and new filter baskets installed. I have the flow sheet on them. $200 shipped pm if interested.
  19. An F54 block and N42 head can yield either 8.25 or 9.75:1 compression on a stock head gasket depending on what pistons came in it.
  20. I have one and can meet near Buford GA with a day or two notice.
