  1. How much boost you can run depends alot on timing. If you still have a miss under load after cleaning up the fuel, I would tighten up the plug gap to .028-.030.
  2. I ran 3" flexable duct from the box to the vent outlets. It was a PITA but moves a little more air. I also ran the blower motor off relays so I don't have as much of a voltage drop. I also run R12 in Az. In a 240 it is pretty good till 100*, above that it just doesn't quite cut it. If you top it off yourself, clear the line by letting a little refrigerant out at the schrader valve end of the can tap hose or manifold gauges if you are using those. You don't want that air in the system. Also fill the low pressure side.
  3. 10:1 is way to rich. Adding a little extra fuel will help cool but you can only add so much before you start putting out the fire. 11:1 is plenty rich to start at and then lean it out from there. What are your plugs gapped at and how much boost?

    Weight

An SR20 long block with intake mani is around 200. I don't remember exactly but me and a friend easily picked it up and put it on a bathromm scale. I think SC was way off. Maybe they included to crossmember and rack?

    Weight

The 523lbs was with the 5spd trans still attached. It was weighed by 2fiddy on his Longcare scales.
  6. Torque is the problem not HP. The newer 87-89 Turbo 5 spds are from what I've read the same internally as the Z32 5 spds. If that's the case it will hold up to whatever you have.
  7. How did the flywheel adapter work out? Any more pics and do you have an idea on the price yet?
  8. What the wheel at the smallest part? It can't be 1 3/4". Are you using calipers or a tape measurer?
  9. That's the compressor in/out. You need to remove the compressor housing(cover) and measure the compressor wheel.
  10. Yes. They have more lift on one of the side. I run an early L28 n/a cam on my 71.
  11. I'm 99.9% sure it's a P trim wheel on the hot side. A 1.15 would be way too big. A .58 would be best for the street, a .68-70 would work okay. What's the inducer on the compressor wheel?
  12. Good place to hod rod. cygnusx1... Is this your design or do you sell them too? How much more compression is in them? I run eccentric LCA bushings all the way in. Will a rear mount sway bar work with it?
  13. Sounds like you are ready for the MSA autox. I'll have my pyrometer with me if you want to use it to further tune. When I put my car back together I set my height measuring between the fender openings and top wheel lip edge as I was more concerned with looks too as it's a street car first. It was pretty good considering. My corner weight was. This was with a 1/2 tank gas. LF 674 RF695 LR 588 RR614
  14. My only suggestion would be to put it arms reach in the car. Mine is just behind the passenger seat on the trans tunnel so no one can accidently turn it.
  15. T4 for sure. Will it work on an L28? Yes. How well depends on the turbine a/r. It looks big though. Knowing the specs would help you sell it. Measure the wheels.
  16. Two things that I know that will cause this. 1. Did you bench bleed the MC? If not you can do it on the car and just return the fluid back into the resevoir. 2. Reaction disk dropped down into the vacuum booster when MC was out.
  17. Thrust angle and toe adjustment would be a PITA. Couldn't do it with out pulling the pin every time. That could take a while setting up. They look nice though.
  18. The starter location is differenent, from what I've heard.
  19. Oh:hail:. Price and pics. Will this work with the n/a trans too? I just got one yesterday. How much longer intil it's finalized?
  20. Well.... I'm not saying there aren't areo issues but the front end coming of the ground was just too much. I'm just stating the lack of issues I've had. Euro springs aren't that stiff and gas struts could be $19 Autozone specials that are Cadi soft. Sounds almost stock. I know I wouldn't take my Z31 over 100 as it floats around a little too much for me. Also how did you get a 4 wheel alignment. There is no toe adjustment on the rear, I see poly bushings but not eccentric or adj rear lca's. How much toe and caster are you running? Not trying to down your setup, just don't know. Steering damper, huh?
  21. It's stock Ford stuff, been tested on half of there cars, trucks and mini vans for 10 or so years:wink:.
