  1. That ebay T70 isn't the same as everyone elses T70. It is not even a 70mm wheel. It's 60.5mm. Why 87 octane. You know what detonation does, especially to cast pistons? It's asking for probelms. If 91 is too expensive I would skip the turbo idea.
  2. You want it on the rears. There is less braking required from the rears so you need to limit the rear pressure. I like mine in the cab. Easier to fine tune. I left the stock valve ungutted on both cars. I can set it to lock the fronts or rears first.
  3. I'll be bolting mine on like this VW one. The sell all the EDIS stuff too. http://home.earthlink.net/~beanbooger/boost_engineering/
  4. Don't know but they are MB. Eclipse turbos use a 450cc injector also. They have the square bosh style plug. They are Oring but if you trim the plastic back you can use them with a hose. I run them on 2 cars with an AIC. Check this link out for alot of injectors. http://users.erols.com/srweiss/tableifc.htm
  5. On MSII you don't. I don't know about the other MS's. http://www.megasquirt.info/ms2/EDIS.htm
  6. Just saw this part. There is a check valve in the line on all cars. It will hold the vacuum in the booster while the manifold is under boost.
  7. You want a booster. There is vacuum (99% of the time) unless you are making boost.
  8. Don't know if you know but those are the 380cc ones. The 280150041 are 480cc. Those might be the drop in ones. there is also an 043 that is 380cc. don't know what plug they have though.
  9. If you are EFI I wopuld get the fuel safe and run there sump. If you go with the other you'll need a surge tank.
  10. 2JZ 550's are side feed, no way of making them work without a side feed fuel rail. Most Supra guys don't have anything good to say about Venom rebuilt injectors. I have seen some Honda guys running them though. There are RX7 injectors that are 550cc and have the same plug as your MKII injectors. They are high imp though. I have an extra set of 550's(actually in the car) but they have the square plug. You can get new plugs for $5 each.
  11. That's what I'm going to run on my 7M. It already has a waste spark set up. You can run it with the EDIS module.
  12. Holy Shiit that was funny. I was laughing when half way in.
  13. Cool. He painted it. I see he swapped motors since I saw it last too. Last summer he said he was going to try to have it ready for MSA. I know he's going but is he bringing it out there?
  14. How much boost do you plan on running?
  15. More back pressure and less power. The newer GT stuff is more efficient. There GT4088 on a 3.0 with a .81(PTE housing) will spool as fast if not a little faster than a 66-67mm turbo with an older P trim and .68. I'll see if I can find some GT35 dynos on a 3.0.
  16. Yes you can run it on the E88. You would need the N42 cam towers also.
  17. Would a GT30R be better? It depends on the boost you will be ruuning. I wouldn't go smaller than the .82 with a GT35R.
  18. 260 2+2's had R200's. I tried running without the strap when I first got my car running and the nose of the diff lifted enough that the yoke/u joints hit my parking brake assembly in the tunnel. The mount was fairly new also. This was before I limited the diff movement.
  19. IMO the Conquest/Starion one is way too small. I had one on my 71 Z and went with a Supra one, MKIII that is still on there. I run the 24x12x4 on my 73'. You will have to cut the core support(a little) and run button head bolts for the hood or cut the in/outs off the tanks and weld new ones on. I cut the core support. There is this style too. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TURBO-SUPERCHARGER-INTERCOOLER_W0QQitemZ8051412923QQcategoryZ33742QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
  20. Do you have the front mount in right? Also the early 71 and older use a different front mount. You have a sway bar mount so I would think it's atleast a 73' but there is no undercoating.
  21. It falls off a little but still makes as much at 7k as it does at 5.5k, probably 5k if it didn't have that funny dip.. Ya, I have a cam sitting there just waiting to go in. Smaller turbos do make more torque way down low but how many times have you needed all that torque at 3k? It's like prefering a Harley and it's low power output over an R1 just because of the bottom end torque.
  22. Narrower would be better, ever seen those swamp buggy races? Heavier would better too.
  23. Yes you will be hitting a wall even with those mods. They may help but the turbo is the big problem. Airflow is HP. The turbo has to support the airflow/power needed. If you have MS and 420's I would be thinking about a turbo upgrade. The silver one is the 7M car, 533 rwhp.
