  1. Wish mine would come together half that fast!!! Lets see her on the street!
  2. Look at the 940 kit John has at http://www.reactionresearch.com
  3. Those wheels look incredible installed. Would someone hurry up at get the 15x7's installed on their s30!
  4. Good luck finding one of these babies. I have been looking for quite sometime and they do not surface often.
  5. Looks like you are making mucho progress. I wish I had that contact there are several z's I could have saved from their demise at the wrecker's. That is a sweet color. Cant wait to see it finished.
  6. Your Pictures are an encouragement. My car is very similar to yours. Cant wait to see it painted!!!
  7. beautiful work. Jealous at your artwork yet again. Now if only my z looked something like that.
  8. Come to think of it that intercooler does look a little low to the ground might want to think of moving it up a little for street driving purposes. Rocks and intercoolers do not mix.
  9. If you dont have the money for the total rehab. Hit the centers with a wire wheel and shoot them with some vht caliper or wheel paint. Works great and holds up fairly well I did this on an old set of wheels on my altima and it held up great for a couple of years. Thats with plenty of Ohio salt in the mix and everyday driving. You can hit the lips with some 500 grit sand paper and work your way up to 2000 then hit them with one of the 5 dollar wal mart drill attachment buffers and some cheap compound such as blue magic and they will look sweet! Buy them for 100 bucks and make us jealous!!!
  10. I really like the rsk. That would look nice in a gunmetal or similar center with a deep lip. Not bad on the prices.
  11. I think the older wheels you mentioned were 14x7. Those wheels are gonna look good on any z. Congrats
  12. Those wheels definatly look like 14's to me but I guess they could be 15's. I would offer alot less then 3 or 4 hundred. Heck you might could get the car for that price and part it out make several hundred bucks and have nice wheels to boot. Id say offer 150-200 you can always go up but you cannot offer less once you lay out the higher offer. Those would look KILLER if you painted the centers black and polished the lip on those things!!! Me likey to buy them new would cost a pretty penny though. They look alot like panasports and thus could possibly be racing only and not sturdy enough for street use.
  13. No No No!!!! Its just not fair. Why can't we get custom wheels in the states for that price. I love those and would definatly pay 13 or 14 hundred for them. Stupid duties for ordering overseas would kill the deal though
  14. what kind of price are we talkin here. Those are beautiful. I didnt know ROH would make custom multipiece wheels.
  15. LoL nice presentation. Can't wait to see more pictures of teh finished car. Lookin good.
  16. http://www.smartshoppersinc.com has the best prices on hok that I have found. Also the kirker epoxy primer works nicely. Do not be tempted to buy the other kirker cheap products though as they are junk.
  17. MORE PICS!!!!! Im away at college now so I need encouragement. Some pics of you guys getting your z's done makes me feel better. Looking real good so far Mike.
  18. Great info as always racerX that was my stance but Ive had people argue the opposite all day long with me....Not on this board though. Thanks guys thats what I needed to know
  19. ok guys I guess I better admit now that this is for the bumper and door handles on my civic (non rice burner) Im trying to get it painted before I go to college in a couple of weeks. The bumper is not flexy and the door handles of course are not. Ive used other parts such as spoiler etc that come pre primed and Im thinking there was no flex agent added to that? Keep the info coming getting ready to paint in the next day or two.
  20. Well Im trying to work with what Ive got. This epoxy primer seems like it sticks to anything like glue and I have a good rough texture for it to bite to. Anyone else used bulldog adhesion promoter? If I can just use the straight epoxy that would be even better.
  21. I am wondering if I can just scuff the urethance or plastic with 180-220 grit and paint with epoxy if the urethane bumper and trim is already on the car or do I have to use an adhesion promoter such as bulldog which I already have. Im just scared to use it. Pipe up guys need to get this thing done. Thanks
  22. I like that alot better then the last version my only gripe is the area above the grill opening that simulates the original bumper I think it is too bulky or tall. If that airdam looked like it did but had a more stock looking simulated bumper I think it would look much better IMO. Still love the car seth(what happened to the end pieces of the spoiler?)
  23. So how much did you end up spending on the conversion. You can always get adapters from modern-motorsports.com and use the stock cv's or you could have custom cv's made and use the the companion flange from the zxt.
  24. Now dang it why dont these companies understand that we want 16 or 17 inch wheels. I like them but If I was buying panasports or similar they would have to be in the 16 inch size
