  13. Can only part of an item be plated? Say I had carbon fiber radio center bezel from a 240z, could the edge trim be chrome plated like factory on the carbon piece? I assume this is all or nothing, but I really have no idea.
  14. You could swap a warrantied crate 525hp ls3 from GM for just the cost of the vr38dett and trans. Although, you lost me at 2 intercoolers. That makes zero sense, do you know what your talking about here? Vr38 us going to cost like 13k for low miles w/o trans. Stock turbo orientation likely won't work without tubing the front end of the car. That would be one heck of a swap, extremely expensive if you are paying a shop. I'm thinking 30k+ atleast, most likely a lot higher.
  15. 16x9 -15 Rota Grid-v with 245/45/16 toyo t1r. Wheels were bronze, but now stripped.
  16. Why not go atleast 85mm on the stroke, have them reduce journal size to accommodate and pin height? Why go through all this trouble to just duplicate the ld crank? PMC has been stuffing 90mm billet crankshaft in l28 blocks for years. Seems like a wasted opportunity to just make a ld28...
  17. Interesting, wonder if it's 83mm stroke like the regular ld28. It would be great if they could do a 85-90mm stroke. That may be worth the risk to try.
  18. Was just going to post the same. Could also cnc a flange with the square to round transition built into it.
  19. I have them on my car. Haven't tried to lower them all the way through. Right now I'm about 2 finger gap with -15 16x9 and 245/45/16 and regular zg flares.
  20. I haven't used these before, but I have rode in cars with powertrix coilovers. They are pretty good for the street and weekend fun. They look identical to Stance coilovers just in different colors, I'm convinced they are the same coilover.

  22. LOL yup. If any premature rusting is occuring it is because the flares were installed without painting or sealing the drilled mounting holes. You can't just drill/cut painted steel body panels and leave bare metal, it will rust.
