  1. Well, I have a normal clutch set up and mine is new since April last year and no problem yet. So that's like a year and a half. It doesn't sound right though. Should last a few years I'd imagine
  2. Well, really anything isn't original anymoer. Not really. I love it though. But hey, how do you get in the trunk? Always wondered what it would be like to weld my hatch shut. I guess that isn't a grocery getter.
  3. just got your main page image. I couldn't get any further. Just saw the Pixies yesterday!! it was awesome. Don't know if you like them or not?
  4. As my boss would say those guys have "more dollars than sence" What a waste of money acting like show offs ruining bikes and themselves.
  5. I am going to do this soon myself. I already ordered the stuff from Ross at modern motorsport. Where are you gettign the s12w calipers from cheap? And from what I have read on hear that is the upgrade to do if ona budget. Supposed to work real well with a v8.
  6. Cant these religious f#$ks really read the bible and say to themselves that it was just a guideline for people to follow on how to be a nice person. Man I hate people who use that 2 thousand year old book to become a holes. What would Jesus do!! You think he would be holding up a sign like that? I am not religious at all either. It is all just sooooo very wrong to see kids brainwashed like that!!
  7. Remember being a kid and everyone said that tracing was bad. Well, all industrial designers do it. So, take some pictures of what it is you will be creating or changing. A few angles of your car that would look good modified or whatever. Then enlarge it to the size you want and get some tracing paper. Then lightly trace the car adding the things on that you want. Once it is all lightly traced and drawn, then you can go over it with pens to darken all the lines. You will darken the lines that hide a plane behind it and that are the outside plane twice as much. Hope this makes sense. It is just a line weight thing that makes quick drawings stand out more. Once you have your line, pen drawings I would scan and copy them. These you can try your hand at coloring by marker, or pencil. If you know illustrator you can scan them into the computer and color them that way. Brake anything down to steps and it is easy right? Please ask any questions if you want, good luck
  8. I really think you will be fine. It just wouldn't make any sense that a gun that is set to 10 psi or less would use more paint then a siphon feed that is set to 25 or so. Maybe I am wrong but it would just make sense that it would use less.
  9. Try a truck bed liner. I know someone who did there Harley that way and it was kind of cool and he said he would never have to worry about scratches. It was a black mat with a slight rubbery feel.
  10. But really the nissan diesel might not be a power producer but I've heard of you guys talk about big ole unbreakable fast and tourqey deisels. So no ones done it and had a fast as hell diesel sports car?
  11. Definately a gravity feed. For one they are way easier to maintain and clean. You can get these bags for them for the paint so when you are done you just pull the bag out and run some cleaner through. Lots less wiping etc. You also really minimize overspray. You save tons of paint. Remember they are High Volume Low Pressure, so less air too. I feel that they are just way better, but that is IMHO. I don't paint cars but am a prototyper and model maker and have painted car sized models using one. Oh and I have used a DeVillibis or something like that name. Not sure what model but I think it was around 100bucks
  12. Plus can you imagine if he had a good start. THink it has a flux capacitor or something. That was so fast!!
  13. if that is the only problem with the car an hour worth of trouble and someone can drive it home. Great price though aye
  14. Doesn't she realize this isn't the 50's. News flash dumb ass smoking is bad for you!
  15. amazing huh!!! No rust at all there!! Almost a shame to have to do all that work to that car since most old Z's like it require a rotisserie and a lot of rust repair. It really looks new!! Can't wait to see it when you are done.
  16. He is just such a pro!! I love it!!
  17. Used to carry all over too when I lived in CT. I had a conceal carry permit, went through all the hoops and such. Now I live in the great land of California where only Diane Finestine (spelling) can carry a concealed weapon. It really sucks, so driving through Oakland the only one armed are the thugs on the street. I love feeling safe!!! Oh well. At least this is a step in the right direction. Can't wait to move back east again and get a new permit. TOO many Liberals in this area for me. All with there bleeding hearts concerned with fair trade coffee and nothing else. RANT sorry,
  18. So very cool!! BMW makes an awesome engine. It should be really smooth aye? Good luck!!
  19. That is just plain awesome!!! I have always thought a deisel would be a great idea and that engine must be soo easy to install. Cool turbo with it too. Making bio diesel is easy too. Can you imaging 44 mpg on fuel you made that can cost you as little as 45 cents a gallon!! And since most Z's have exaust leaks into the cabin you would just smell french fries. Yum!!! What do you all think??
  20. Itis normal and a bunch of guys here have replaced it themselves and made it look good and easy.
  21. Definately an uphosterly shop is the way to go. Are you trying an automotive one or a home shop? Post what you find out. And what are junk yard seats running now or days? Fairly cheap?
  22. Sounds interesting. Kind of messy though. Good luck, sorry I couldn't help I have never heard of Krown before.
  23. I've heard great stuff about the zero rust product. Just bought some yesterday in a can for 7.50 a can. Check out there website too. Looks like awesome stuff. I will primer my car in there black while doing body work.
