  2. Other important measurement is the offset from hub to rotor or backspacing. If its only the diameter that is different than you can still install it but you will have 1/4 inch of unused rotor. You can fix that by turning the rotor to 10 3/4. goodluck

  4. Hey , you mentioned you had your head resurfaced and all that great stuff. Was this before or after you it was in the donor car? Cause one or two teeth off the chain you will get your valves opening a bit to early. Still giving you good compression but not optimal running. I had recently done a HG cause I blew mine from boost creep and thats what mine is doing.
  5. I bought mine after seeing your post still have not installed it,,, I bought a brand new tial wastegate that the post monkeys lost. Nigel are you running an external or internal wastegate
  6. i bought like a long roll of stainless braided line for a harley davidson off ebay was like 48 and there was enough to make it from the tank to rail and around the engien for dress up no one makes a 3"dp for s30t 2.5 msa 99 cant go wrong its moer than you'll probally need

  9. Have you done a headgasket recently or changed timing chain? You could be a bit off on the chain links.
  10. dont skimp on the wastegate bov ok but not wastegate
  11. you should be 13.5 and up at batterey terminals idling check wiring first, make sure its being regulated more importantly before replacing alternator. Also check maybe the alternator belt isnt slipping. I had some issues with the alternator and especially with ms cause I had a 240z and didnt splice the wires correctly with alternator. WIERD ISSUES
  12. Pull out the sparkplugs out of head so it will crank faster and lay the plugs with wires on engine metal. Timing lights usually pick up a faster stronger signal when engine running and that you have edis its harder to pick up too. Second thing ( actually do this first )yes set TDC and mark the pulley. dont forget to cut off fuel so it wont spray in cylinders and gush out = no good.

  14. Your saying the car is cranking great while cold just when it warms up it needs the throttle? try allowing some more air at the idle screw on Throttle body. If that doesntwork Id look into after start enrichments.
  15. Its funny before reading this, Last night I was looking at the buick build looks hefty I guess it was a coinky dink. Anyways from what I saw you had twin fuel rails on the build. Just a couple of questions.. How are you driving the injectors all through ms? How are they configured through ms and wired? which ms are you running? with that said Im more concerned with fuel setup and twin rails. Especially after reading your fuel pressure is decreasing as you try to get into boost.
  16. I just bought a 38mm tial wastegate, and I was thinking/researching of ways and places to mount. The easiest sure enough being the t3 to t3 turbo/wG adaptor and the reviews I heard werent that good enough to convince me to go that route. I agree with you phil that your location is not adequate. However I wouldnt get to hasty and change your whole wastegate setup. With out exhausting the other ideas of isolating/shortning lines. Clearly its not the boost controller its the waste gate location or vac source, cause your creeping even with ebc unhooked. Which should default to the spring in waste-gate unfortunatly its not doing that so = bad wastegate (you tested with air regulator so that not it so leaves you with either bad vac source or bad location for wastegate actuation.   17. you can do it yourself , It is the high road but you learn how it works, MS is a diy and thats where the fun comes in. Besides its a never ending learning experience. I recommend getting the harness from DIYauto tune and its only like 10 wires you have to send out injectors, coolant, tps, ignition and setting up some relays. Read up and try it out.   18. new ITM water pump sells for 17 dollers on ebay head studs go new also ebay clutch ebay you can get cheaper for those 150 stage 2 clutch intercooler ,pipes ebay you cant beat them 1mm metal gasket good luck finding one
