  1. Don't even think about it CB! lol
  2. Are you looking for just the cable or do you need the actuator handle as well? Joe
  3. Unfortunately there is a lot of money to be made on the work of others. Seems to be happening more and more.
  4. Is your motor DBW or do you have a cable operated throttle body? Either way you can use the Datsun gas pedal. To mount a cable to the pedal, just drill out the stud that is welded to the pedal where the throttle rod snaps on. From there you can attach any number of aftermarket throttle cables, most of which will have a supplied bolt with a hole drilled through it where the cable will pass through to connect. Joe
  5. Lol, I think you underestimated the amount of potholes here! Seriously, glad the rolling went well. Joe
  6. Hey Glenn the car looks great! I'm glad you are seeing the project to completion. Joe
  7. I like it! What would make this really slick is if you could develop true controls for the HVAC system. Everything thru the touch screen ala Tesla, is truly the way to go. Good luck, great project. Joe
  8. Woohoo, first to post on page 40 of this blog! lol
  9. Pass emissions?? Where are your Historic plates? No inspection with Historic plates! Joe
  10. Happened to me at Pocono. Permatex on the new one and good for the last 7 years. Joe
  11. Good to hear! Has the exchange rate changed or did the price go up? I said it before and I'll say it again, this is one of the best mods I have ever done to a Z! Joe
  12. very low as in empty? Did you look at the slave cylinder to see if it or the rubber hose leading to it is leaking?
  13. Is the clutch master cylinder reservoir filled? If so, when you depress the clutch pedal does the slave cylinder move the clutch fork?
  14. That was just the baseline pull, Will. Yet to be tuned. Joe
  15. I know you said you checked vacuum but the description you gave of the problem on Facebook is classic vacuum leak. I'd double/triple check. Have you made any changes to the PCV system? Brake booster holding? Joe
  16. I did mine myself and it didn't come out bad at all. What size tires are you running? I'm using 350Z 18" wheels on a 280 with adjustable coilovers and don't rub even on the track. Joe
  17. Where are you autocrossing? I'd like to stop by! Joe
  18. Mike, I just finished doing the same thing, cleaning the engine compartment. I have a 78 so the brake line is a little easier to move away from the exhaust than on an earlier car. The line hold down appears to be in a different location. Anyway it's easy to move. Just bend it closer to the inner fender. As for the wiring, I also tried to hide as much as possible and I think I did a pretty good job. All of the relays have been relocated from the engine compartment to under the dash behind the glove box. I'll snap some pictures of the final product and post here a little later. Joe
  19. Is the vacuum check valve on the vacuum hose to the booster? Connected in the correct direction? Joe
  20. If I can find a set, yes. Joe
  21. Anyone have a set they are willing to let go of? PM me. Joe
