Love it! I bought an expensive pre made rotisserie after an exhausting search for a used one came up with nothing. It worked great and got lucky by trading it for a predetermined amout of professional welding/fab work after I was finished with it. If I was to ever have a need again, I would follow your build. Please show progress with the 914 build, I am a huge fan and wish I had the funds/space/time to build that along with my Z.

Curious as to what door mirrors you have. Are they the classic chrome from MSA ?- 110 replies

As for the height issue I can't comment on that as I am a shorty at only 5'8" and a buck sixty, but when installing old BMW Recaro seats to the stock mounting bars, even I at my short stature was getting cramped with space. Once I got a serious game plan formed for my build, I had new mounting bars and seat brackets installed along with the new floors and frame rails. The rear bar is lower than the front. I am using a Recaro seat made for the Mitsubishi Evo 9 with the sliders intact for that seat.

I'm curious as to the offset on the Work VS wheels.

Wheel Show! Post your pics of you wheels

I am willing to convert to 5 lug for the right wheel, just been taking me awhile to come to terms with it as I have the Modern Motorsports billet stubs in 4 and Arizona Z Wilwood brake setup as well. In my searching I have stumbled onto this site (Wheel Flip) and have spent loooots of time looking at soooo many wheels that I want like the Work VS KF model. I completely forgot about Jongbloed wheels, thanks for the reminder on that one. Love the old BBS as well. My favorite would be a re barreled set of RS GT's in diamond black. http://wheelflip.com/ -

Beginning to look at other forged options and have come up with these all in 17" with negative offsets. http://www.ssr-wheel...sp1r_151617.asp http://weldwheels.co...lassic-3pc.html http://barramundides...com/wheels.html http://www.bozeforged.com/shifter.html And a few pics of the wheel models included. -

So let me get this correct, the FuguZ is using 2015 limited run of gunmetal gray TE37 V SL in 17" x 9.5" -15 front with 235 tires, and 10.5" -25 255 tires on the rears with red sticker options from the SL line. This would match D Sport Magazines article of offsets on it minus them calling the wheel version a VE. It seems as if there are no current wide options in negative offsets for the 17" 2016 V SL line in 4 lug, bummer. -

I'm also looking into the SSR Professor SP1 R in 17". Looks like lots of negative offsets available in wide selections. http://www.ssr-wheels.com/wheels/sp1r_151617.asp -

I am still baffled by this Greddy video ( ). At 1:38 in, you can see they tried 255,265 qnd 275 tires and also look carefully at the difference of the rim in the video (TE37 V SL) which is nowhere on the Rays site, as well as the TE37 SL that has lettering embossed in the rim as opposed to the TE37 V model without the embossed letters. On the Rays site the SL model only comes in 5 lug with low positive offsets for the 17" wheels. The rear tire size on the FuguZ appears to be only 255's according to some of the magazines, which seems narrow considering how wide that body kit appears to be. Must be somewhere between a standard ZG and BAMF width. Pics attached of the two different model variations SL and V.Lots of questions swirling in my head -

As far as I am concerned between having to sell all my 4 lug setup and convert to 5 and mostly the lack of customer concern/support, they lost my potential purchase. I am looking deep into the Volk TE37 V option. Been trying to dig up as much info on the TE37 model used on the FuguZ car with soooo much conflicting info on them. After calling Rays Wheels and talking with their sales staff (who didn't sound 100% sure) and said they would only sell what is available on their site and not a custom version, but still left me wondering what they are exactly. Today I called Greddy and asked the same question as what exactly the wheels are. I was told they are a custom derivative of the TE37 V model and the offset info was confidential and he wouldn't divulge. So I am assuming for non high profile social stars and scrubs like myself, the only TE37, 4 x 114.3, 17" wheel options come in (9" -10), (9.5" -15) and (10" -20). https://www.rayswheels.co.jp/products/wheel.php?lang=en&wheel=TE37V -

So it's been over two weeks and I called back and spoke with Weld's sales rep Deanna for the second time last week and was told she would follow up on finding weights and sizing options. I don't think I will hear back from her though as when I called her the second time I had to completely remind her of our first conversation. So I have been looking seriously at the Volk TE37 V and other wheel options. Just thought I would update on the Weld wheels. -
I have always sourced the pictures I have wanted directly from folders I have created, named and stocked with the pictures accordingly, ex:" L28et, Body mods, wheel options" on my computer. I will go through the motions of using the (more reply options) tab lower right, the (choose picture) then attach picture. However many pics I end up including always come up as you are inquiring about in one long stream without having to deal with Photobucket ads or clicking back out of every individual pic. Example of some random saved pictures.

Beautiful car, it just commands your attention! I'm curious on the brand of clear film you went with.

I'm waiting on feedback from Weld on the new wheel weights and exact width options. Unfortunately they are only available in 5 lug options. -
Yeah it came with Z31 CV axles which I paired with my great condition R200 clsd and sold locally. I kept the finned cover that I had powder coated wheel silver quite awhile ago.

I just bought a new -used, 3.9 R200 OS-Giken filled diff off of the local Craigslist that the previous owner had a quality company professionally install. I have his receipt and it is the NS046-HA unit set up as a 1.5 way.

I have the Rota RBR in Royal hyper black from the group buy and love their design and looks, but am left wanting a nice strong and light forged wheel so I have been looking all around. I noticed on the CCW/Weld site that Weld has three new wheels in 17" about to be released and I am really liking the Riverside model as well as the Miramar. http://weldwheels.com/shop/street-strip/gt-s-wheels/ Bozeforged.com also has some nice offerings. -
Please do keep updating with progress.

Both would be very much appreciated.
