I also looked very in depth into purchasing a 951 before I bought my 73' 240z. Lots of power potential. Here are a few other excellent specimens.

Rota Fast Forwards (Watanabe Replicas)
Nelsonian replied to jacob80's topic in Brakes, Wheels, Suspension and Chassis
I'm really stoked to see that Rota is coming up with lots of options for many older cars including these Wats copies in larger sizes. I really like the stepped lip of this wheel, but like the spoke curvature of the rbr better. Torn between the two optoins at this point. -
Sounds very promising. Would love to see results...

pictures of an S30 with Cragar S/S rims?
Nelsonian replied to logan1's topic in Brakes, Wheels, Suspension and Chassis
If this is the silver car you were refering to, then the wheels are 03' Mustang bullet options. Not sure if the orange car is sporting Cragars, but they look very close to them. Foose also has his own take on the classic style shown here. -

^^^ Oh so nice ^^^ I wish you had a side profile shot of it.... -
I have posted these pics on other related threads but a picture always seems to get the wheels moving. I had a local stereo shop build the small tweeter mound as I will be using very quality 6.5" component speakers in the doors. Can't wait to skin these with an outer border of leather, and inner panel of alcantera.

Yeah, I had msa put louvers in my inspection lids for $80, came out nice...

All the chromed pieces were done by an acquatance of a friend who has a family connection in Tijuana. Most of the polished aluminum pieces were done by a company in El Cajon, CA. Volcano polishing (no longer in business), and Romero's custom polishing in El Cajon, CA. (619)410-1532... I still have yet to apply the zoop seal to everything, being a slacker lately...

Forgot about this one at 2:39 a yellow 280z goes by. Almost every fourth episode probably had a z in the back ground though...

Flipping channels the other day and caught the ending fight scene in blazing saddles, right when Heddley lamarr calls for a taxi to drive him "off of the scene", a yellow s30 appears in the background.

"Well this is about as far as I'm going to get before i deploy. there are a couple other little things but I'm just going to make a list and work on them when i get back. Here she is!!!" BadA$$ness, can't wait to see the front wheels in the air on launch!!

After digging through several boxes of my disassembled car, I was unable to find both parts, and am assuming that I ended up scrapping them. Sorry about that...

I removed mine with the intention of using the Lokar cable instead. Not sure if I have it still or not, but will dig through a box or two tomorrow and let you know. If I find it, it's yours....

I do know that the car with the 350 dash swap was in the MSA car show back in 06', might even be where that pic came from. Might have some luck giving MSA a call to see if they could track the owner down for info. By the way nice progress...

Mike, I'm very sorry to hear of the loss of your father, though as you pointed out sounded to be the end to pain and suffering. Those are very touching words and feelings of admiration and respect you wrote. I feel very much the same towards my father. God bless ...

I personally don't think that wheel combo on an s30 looks bad at all, but I am a lover of most classic 5 spoke or star patterned wheels and have no problem with fitting 17" wheels on these cars. Though I really like Ray's wheels as I have had in the past some nice Volk av3's, I think I would lean more towards some HRE like on Darius' stock bodied car, or some custom Kinesis k58 if they are available in 17" like they used to be, or lastly Work Meisters if they fit without too much adaptor issues. Money does not flow enough for me to even consider these options at the moment, but I have put much thought into these wheel makers over the past years. Just my 2 cents wourth.

Anwar, Anything new with the posibility of a cf dash, (and most importantly in my eyes), one with more gauge provisions? If you guys were to make one as mentioned, it would be the deciding factor for me to not go with a 240sx dash swap. A single 2-1/16" gauge molded onto the top ignition clamshell, balanced visually between the speedo and tach, would be great for any boosted applications providing a space for a boost or air/fuel ratio gauge. Just poking around for some current info, Thanks....

I have an extra one in very good, clean condition with no cracks or broken studs for $75. however it's not exactly close to you. Pictures tell a better story...
