  1. Yo880 the car is in storage. Next time I'm there at night I will definately snap some pics for you. Helghast thanks for the kind words.
  2. Looking good. Keep up the good work and great posts.
  3. http://forums.hybridz.org/topic/93859-1971-240z-rb25det-build-thread/page-2 Page 2 post 40
  4. I'm on my phone so I don't have the link. But if you search my user name my rb25 build thread has a wiring diagram in it.
  5. If I move to California but don't sell my old house in another state. Can I leave my cars registered there and not be hassled? Or are vehicles with out of state license plates still subject to referee inspections?
  6. Wheel question for all you gurus out there. Looking at some wheels that come in 4x114.3 in a 15x8.5 -6 or 15. And 15x9.5 0 or 15 offset. I have coilovers and will be running flares. I am open to stagger sizes but don't know what would fit best. All my searches are 15x9 wheels. Any advice would help.
  7. Mine took almost 2 months. They were waiting on shocks.
  8. I was just going to say the same thing. If you haven't started and are looking for ways to cut cost. Then it's out of your budget.
  9. Update. No pictures of this one. Installed Sti rear diff. Install was straight forward but not as easy as I had hoped. Lots of very stuck on bolts. Haven't beat on it in the slightest but I can say the car feels like it holds the road better in turns and the gearing feels much better. Car pulls much better. More on the way. With pics next time.
  10. Been following this build since the beginning. One thing I missed is why did you get rid of the rb25?
  11. Not much I'm sure. I'm not a huge weight saving guy. I'd guess 5 lbs per door.
  12. Card fits well over the power locks and window motors. Switches aren't in the door.
  13. krazzin, appreciate the compliments. I will try and keep updating. Been working on little things here and their. Not much to report. Ps I did go rb25 it's been in and running for over a year.
  14. For the door locks I did keyless entry. For the windows I am mounting a switch on the ash tray fuse box panel. Haven't quite got there yet but will update.
  15. A couple little things I've done so far this spring. Added power locks and windows. Here's how. Step 1. Clean and prep door surface. Step 2. Make bracket and mount door lock actuator. Push pull rod should be parallel to factory rod. Step 3. Mount window motor. Step 4. Make sure to twist the motor leads. Make sure to put on silver clip that holds gears together. Step 5. Mount bracket to window winder. Don't forget the small screw. Step 6. I dynamated the door and cleaned it all up.
  16. A couple minor updates on the way. Looking into engine management. What do u guys think? Haltech, aem, power fc, or nistune. All my local tuners said not to go nistune.
  17. Did you get that alternator issue solved or do you need me to check mine out?
  18. I had a green wire and a white/ red wire. White/red went to switched 12 volt with a diode and the green went to constant 12 volt. This is from memory. I won't be home till Monday.
  19. I connected it right to the coil. Worked perfectly once I set the gauge correctly. If you need to know the exact wire let me know I can check for you.
  20. Nice car. Looks like a great platform to start your project. That wiring looks like a mess. If it was me I would start from scratch with a ezwiring harness. That's what I did on my project.
  21. I'm am fairly sure I ran a fused wire to my distribution block for the constant power of the relay. I can double check but I won't be at the car till next week.
