I'm not opposed to fixed if it's comfortable, but most likely a recliner. My car is ment to be a street car when it's done, there is not really any racing organizations up here around Logan, and going in a straight line doesn't appeal as much as canyon carving or road coursing to me. I plan on some form of a cage, and definitely stitch weld the body, frame rail reinforcements and strut tower bars. So I'll need to figure out seats before I get to the cage building stage, but that's a ways down the road. Need to finish piecing the drivetrain together first so I know what needs to be done for mounts, ride height, etc.- 168 replies

Thanks, I'm a mechanic in the Utah Army National Guard. That's a great idea, it would be nice to sit in a few and see what is going to actually work for me before buying. I'm kind of picky about lumbar support and the angle my legs sit at from the back to the front of the seat.- 168 replies

McMaster is the best for metric hardware, only comes in boxes of 10,25,100, etc... But so much cheaper per fastener than everywhere else in Utah. Used to be if you ordered before about 2-3pm it would show the up next day from ups without paying for next day shipping. Only time I've paid for next day shipping, the stupid OnTrac shipping guys lost the package between California and Utah. That delayed a big engineering high profile project by a couple days.- 168 replies

Primer- just something to seal the bare metal from the holes and the washer rubbing on the back side to prevent any future rust problems- 168 replies

Can you put a small washer on the back of the river to cover the hole and grip the fender and flare? We do this at work all of the time with small 1/8" shank rivets and a #6 machine screw washer for thin panels. (Obviously treat the metal around the whole to prevent rust before securing)- 168 replies

Nice, I like that approach! I have yet to figure out the real height my engine will sit at, but I'm guessing with a supercharger and intercooler on top I'll be looking to do something similar. Keep up the good work and pictures, welds look really nice.

Nice! That E-Force looks so clean when installed compared to a few of the other kits out there.

Glad it's all working out with the pieces you've purchased!

No problem! I think I screwed up though, that's the ZL1 scoop, lol. I've actually looked at the single row SS scoop and thought it might look decent on a Z. "Edited double post text, stupid tiny mobile screen

Have you looked up the dimensions in the NTN 323/28C bearing number? I would start there and measure what you have, if the measurements match it's probably good to go. That 323/28c should cross to an industry standard bearing design unless it is a Nissan specific fitment. Looking at just the 323/28C there seems to be quite a few options out there for the bearing. NSK, FAG and SKF all popped up with options when I googled it. Hope that helps!

Looks like a newer gen Camaro SS center vent and hood buldge put on the stock hood or at least the Camaro vents in a universal 3-4" cowl?
