  1. I like the kind you don't see.... just hear.
  2. Take my word of advice..... if you are going to be using it quite a bit and are going to run DA sanders, die grinders or blasting equipment.. Get the one with the most CFM you can afford... I already have upgraded after a year and a half... BTW... anyone wanna buy a 1 1/2 year old compressor Got my (big) new one wired (finally)
  3. Also, if you do polish it..... to keep from having to do it all over again and the constant "touching up" its best to clear it with a sealer or powder coat it with clear....
  4. Yup. My '78 with factory air had the vacuum operated valve also... my '77 w/ no air is cable driven.

I always liked the sound that the Monza system gives the L6..
  6. This is the whole reason to install an additional washer sprayer in the rear of the car with your choice of any particular liquid...
  7. Nice car...The color looks good on there... I likey
  8. I remember them back in the late '80's early '90's. Saw quite a few with the inset painted the body color of whatever it was... mostly on trucks..
  9. I kinda like them... they have an odd look to them. Definately different.. maybe they would look even better if they had a little deeper dish to them.
  10. I've got a complete set of ZX windshield trim.
  11. Nice work! ... I wouldn't have the time nor the patience to custom fab an airdam like that.. I'm involved enough reworking my wagon..
  12. Powder is more resilient than paint and haven't had any call backs on chipping... I did a test piece with a 2 stage candy on flat aluminum plate and beat it the crap out it with a peen hammer until it turned concave.... never did chip. Pretty durable stuff... A lot of the motorcycle builds want powder coating under the fenders to help from chipping and eventually rusting.. as opposed to paint.
  13. That was a 2 stage. The black trim make it look a little darker than it really was.. Curious to see what Warrens coater did it with...
  14. http://cgi.ebay.com/1975-Datsun-120Y-Coupe_W0QQitemZ180083705831QQihZ008QQcategoryZ135913QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Yikes !
  15. Looks almost like 2 stage Mike... don't you think... The finish looks a little thicker than a single stage chrome.. unless the just did a heavy single stage. Yeah, its too bad it will be hidden...
  16. lol... maybe the title was asking for it...
  17. I can ask them... and see If I can get you a ballpark figure.. I should be seeing one of them this week.
  18. Odd.... A friend of mine called me ealier today and asked me if I wanted to add the Duracoat line to the powdercoating.. he has some old WW2 stuff he wanted done..
  19. yeah it does look good... and polishing stainless is a PITA...
