  1. Good question Mario. Struts are not sectioned but the car is only 1 inch lower than stock. They just seemed cheap when installing and lasted about 1000 miles. Maybe thats normal, I really don't know. Illuminas with 300r/275f springs, no rear sway, stock front sway, DP biscut plates. The car rides stiff indeed I can't see it bottoming out too much.
  2. Hey guys, Did a search but still seeking a source. Looking for decent bumpstops for 240 strut shafts. The ones purchased from GC were made of foam which deteriorated rather quickly. A more substantial material that will last on the street would be ideal. Poly-urethene? Or?... Any suggestions would be a great help. Thanks! Brian
  3. Jason, That does look cool! Know what you mean about having the only running V8 Z in town. In St.Paul it's all chevelle camaro mustangs and gangster rice. 240 what??? Someone once asked me if it was an old maserati. I said yes.
  4. Interesting, Could you split the bumber length wise revome a section and weld it back up, mud and paint. I like the look between the headlights but thinner less mass would be cooler. Just a thought.
  5. http://home.comcast.net/~pparaska/drivelinemods.htm These are Petes pages very handy and will help better understand why your DS might be causing vibrations . Basically your angles are not paralell and the related DS angle maybe to great. For example, I'm running about 1.2 total DS angle with paralell pinion and output trans tail shafts. Hard to explain but easy once you understand it.

  7. I second that opinion, Serious Interference.
  8. Looks is performance too. I say the third one.
  9. Max, You ever think about a developing a design career? You have that intuitive talent and passion rarely seen these days. Nice work. Brian
  10. Yes. Looking back I could have maybe made it lighter. But the car is now more rigid than oem with 3D boxed floor tied directly into the rear hatch tailgate type opening. With extra weight of a T56 and V8 (alum heads carb intake pump headers etc.) maybe it even helps the balance having a few extra pounds back there? In my case, the difference if any is almost irrelevant.
  11. 2006 Toyota Tacoma 4X4 2.7 4cyl. Installed the topper for playing gigs. The 4 wheel drive has helped me many times unloading music equpiment at night in downtown snow filled dark alley backstages. Awesome truck. Brian
  12. Got mine from FL delivered sight unseen online ebay, well only pictures and lame video. I'm not loaded so it was a risky move and cost too much. Could have been scammed easy, but it all turned out great. Looking back it was way worth it.
  13. Looks great Phil! Major improvement. Are you going to section your struts/coilovers to lower the car? Brian
  14. ...unless you want to true dual exhausts.
  15. Here is a free one still sitting in my driveway. Heck take the whole car! lol Brian
  16. Mitutoyo. As a designer I use one everyday. Have 6, 8, 12 and 4 inch versions. You get what you pay for. The 12 inch ran about $325....and I never loan them out.
  17. Wisco Transport Inc. I used them when moving my Z from Florida to Minnesota. Great service and Professional. Took about a week to 10 days from pick up. $1000 enclosed trailer. I think nonstop doesn't exist in the biz. 1-800-249-4726 http://www.wiscotransport.com
  18. Corbeau A4's fit for sure. Way less than $900 per seat too.
  19. Bartman, I like this first one. Ok I like blue too hehe. Maybe lower the paint line a bit. What we can't see in the photshop is the blend.... The blend makes it or kills it. We all know Chip Foose but check out some of his blends. Extreme and slight. If you can fool the eye you know its done right. I agree it takes a real artist to do it..... but if you could pull it off, Awesome EDIT: Ditch the DOT side marker lights all the better. No mirrors are cool too, More shark pit. ok ill shut up now Brian
  20. You did really good! Smart move. Having your own tube bender and notcher is the way to go!
