I am selling my 1973 Datsun 240Z. Bought as roller without engine/trans in 2011/2012. Previous owner/s have changed the roof and various parts, so some of the stuff i pulled out was off a 260z/ 280z and there might still be some mixed parts on it. That and all the modifications pretty much eliminate this as a show car. Do not buy this thinking it can be restored to show car quality. It would take far more than would make economic sense. This is purely made to run quick/fast, not to look pretty. It's raw and needs muscle to be driven. It has manual brakes without booster and manual steering wit

After a lot of work, I have finally got a cowl hood installed on my 280Z and wanted to share the results. Note: this hood is not a bolt on. The bracket attachment tabs were drilled, cut and spacers used to center the hood. I also cut material from the rear cross brace and filled with expandable insulation to add strength. I cut the material for a cleaner look and improved opening for cowl i

I came into possession of an actual NOS Nissan OEM 280Z hood. It had sat in a storage shed in Pueblo, Colorado since 1986 and is still in the battleship gray primer with the Nissan part code and sticker on the underside. It does not appear to have ever been placed on a car. I'm considering putting it on my orange 240Z. I would paint the vents a satin black to match the front and rear spoiler on the car. My car is undergoing a turbo motor swap. With respect to this 280Z hood, I'm not sure if the vents are actually functional as I've never owned a 280Z. My other option is to try and fix m

WTB: OEM 240Z hood (without the vents). Must be rust free and without damage. If anyone has a new OEM or aftermarket hood please email me. I have some rather rare parts (i.e. triple webers, race items) that I would be willing to trade.
