I charge $50 per wheel if they aren't previously painted, or if they come to me stripped. $125 if I have to strip the paint, because here in atlanta, the cheapest place I can find to strip costs $3/lb, and I don't have the time to manually strip them myself.

for me, the 240z is just a toy. There is no way I could live with it for an every day driver. My C6 is super comfortable, plenty quick stock and looks great.

best to pay the difference and get a manufacturer crate engine?

I dont think it looks anything like the Z. That being said, I have to see it in person before I decide how I like its looks. The photos don't do a whole lot for me.

congrats, they are really fun cars. sometimes I miss mine a little.

I would say any color rustoleum you want, but get a satin finish so it all blends together easily and can be spot touched up.

stock manifold. It is thermo plastic though, I believe, as it can easily withstand the 375 degrees I cure at. Its normal powder though, and I can do any color. Pricing will probably be around $100. This was a test piece I bought to do a proof of concept on. I will be doing the LS2 intake on my C6 this weekend and making sure everything is ok before actually doing it for any paying customers, although there should be no problems. Even at 375 degrees, the plastic was just as hard and stable as at room temperature, and I brought it up to that temperature and sustained it for 1 hour on 2 different occassions. This particular one is actually going to get another coat in a color, just to see how it goes.

well, with the length of the crankshaft, I have decided it is probably smarter to have a damper than not. I will probably just buy a nissan 2 row, and keep a watch on ebay for the euro damper, or get the one that started this post in a couple of months when they release it.

not taking it personal at all. I am looking for the lightest pulley I can find, not the cheapest. Since the euro damper is NLA, I'm just exploring options. And, btw, the 350z does not have a damper, just a solid pulley.

Actually, I contacted the manufacturer and this is what they said: "Not available yet. Check back with us in 60 days. If you need to order it and can wait, call BCI in Atlanta 404-505-9275" My guess is the ebay seller has their catalog and didn't know they hadn't actually released the part yet. There is someone local that makes a solid billet 1 row pulley, without any damper on it, would that be a problem?

The intake portion has holes that are smaller than the intake on the head, so I need to 'port' the gasket. Its a metal/cardboard type composition.

I was going to do candy lime green, but Teresa convinced me not too, in case I ever change the color of the car. Next was candy black, but all the texture of the block didn't work and it looked like silver dots all over, so I went with mirror black. Its mostly assembled now.

I've got $10000 set aside in addition to my withholding from my main job. the PC business has been very good this year, and I haven't paid any estimated taxes on that income. I hope the 10 is enough.

to me it looks too shiny to be a single stage, or a 2 stage with clear. It looks like 2 stage without a clear coat, so if it is cleared or a single stage, I need to know where to buy that stuff!
