  1. I love that show! I want to buy the episodes sometime.. My favorite is the Maserati episode! It sometimes runs in the night on Speed channel (I think...). One of the best car shows on the planet!!
  2. !!! Those are some seriously huge turbos guys... !!!
  3. The color choice really does pop out with the engine all together! And it perfectly matches the car! Hope to see it in a few weeks!
  4. Phil: Now you just need an ultra-light aluminum dash... Lookin' Great!
  5. Well The time is about to come to get my car running again! I'm going to run this L26 at the highest compression I can for 93 octane gas... (aprox 10.2:1) Bodywork is on the plan for this summer as well as geting some fabrication equipment. I am also going to find a motor to start rebuilding. The local JY just got a Z32 so you never know... If I can't find something like that then it will be onward with a 351w motor. The Z32 drivetrain may be a better choice since it already has mostly forged internals and I could do a near-stock rebuild on it for my power wishes. (ie: forged pistons, cams, HG, etc...) So I'll be home in 23 days to put the L26 back in the car and run the snot out of it up at Zdayz... You can check out my blog in my sig for other updates...

Loved it!!! That is soo awesome!!!
  7. Tippmann 98 basic, 20" stone cold 2 barrel, my custom ghillie, remote CO2, A stock that I made, and newer internals... Skill makes a player, not the gun. It is fun to take out a guy with an Angel or Shocker($$$$) from over 100 feet away and never see the round coming in from my old beat up tippmann... Soon all of this stuff will be transferred over to my Spyder AMG to reduce weight and overall length. The Tippmann has over 25,000 rounds through it in 7 years and is just tired...
  8. 9.2:1 L26 1:1 4th 3.54 rear end 6500 RPMs 215/60r14 tires aprox 125-130mph...needs a 5th gear. Now I have 26" tall 225/60r15 tires.
  9. You just posted the same thing right below!!!
  10. Go coilovers... I converted to coilovers for about $350 plus whatever welding would cost. Then some new illuminas are about $95 each if you can find a deal on ebay. JDMwerks is who I got my illuminas from...
  11. Very cool sketch Max! It looks like this summer I'll be doing the bodywork and raising compression to 10.2:1 before I retire the L26 to go to another project... It looks like I'll be doing the body in the "boodlefoof style"... I'll have some more sketches soon.

  17. Zdriver.com... Now it's like most flaming ricer cites...shame.
  18. Well it's a start... I am going to be using mostly square aircraft guages except for the speedo... Also some racing seatsand other stuff to keep me from sliding around in the car...
  19. yummy...another sketch. Drew it to get some relief right after midterms...
  20. My tank was clogged from the screen mesh or whatever was on the end of the output line inside the tank. Buy a braided steel brake line or shifter line from a bicycle and remove the plastic covering. Then fray the end like a wire brush and cram it into the line to clear out the crud... Worked good for me! That was on a low pressure carbie fuel system. Should work the same though!
  21. hahaha..yep... Sounds like awesome progress Austin!
  22. I caculated for my L26 with L24 flattops, stock L26/L28 cank and rods, 1.2mm felpro gasket, and my stock MN47 head (w/ "C" cam) I should have about 10.3:1. I was at 9.2:1 with all of the above with the stock E88 head and the flattops. Stock L26 pistons were dished by 7cc.
