  1. Rebello has a .60" cam 300-.600 would be a handful if you wanted to DD it though I'm betting.
  2. Seems to me that insulating the hood is the wrong direction to go it. If it was me, I would get louvers right on top of the turbos instead, so that rather than trapping all that head in the engine bay, it has a way to escape.
  3. I don't see the intake being a problem, since you could just route that through a FMIC around front and then into the engine (come to think of it, don't some RBs have a similar intake over the top setup?)
  4. Nope, was there any more information, like ALL smogged cars needed this, or just post 08/09? What year Z do you have? And where/when are you in Merced? If you've seen a blue S30 covered in dust, that was me
  5. Looks like it'll be fun, but I'd put a heat shield b/w it and the wheel. And we need a video ASAP
  6. I figure it's only slightly more likely to happen than the OP getting a 340MM Ferrari
  7. Man, how did you even find that?
  8. My dream car is a S30 with all the work needed finished, with a nice, powerful engine in it, and that has the rear defroster working
  9. It looks like from what I can find that all the Nissan turbo diesels are longitudinally mounted, so it shouldn't be *that* hard to mount one in a Z, assuming you can even get your hands on one.
  10. Depending on what you want, I'd almost go with a more aggressive cam. Based off my own experience with a wild Rebello cam (63D, basically the same as the 63DE they have listed on the site), it's perfectly streetable with a light weight car. The only problems I have with it are due to finicky carbs rather than the cam itself.
  11. Grrrr.....when I showed up at the theater at 6:30ish, the ricers and other tards had already caused the movie to sell out for the rest of the night. So no FnF for me till tomorrow I love the FnF franchise for the laughs and random car action, but something about it brings out the parts of the car community that I wish didn't exist, like the hondas with 5" exhausts and a huge RPM guage, or the mustangs made to look like saleens (and badly at that), and all similar people.
  12. IIRC They will be offering a stripped down version for the more serious car modders/autoxers etc.
  13. Hmmmm, I don't think I'll be able to catch your cars the first time, I'll have to rewatch it until I do...
  14. *secretly prays for aluminum engine blocks and four valve heads*
  15. Beautiful, but I can't see myself ever spending that much on exhaust. Hell, you could get a Stahl header, 3 or 3.5" mandrel bent exhaust, and it all ceramic coated for the price of that last one.
  16. Psh, that'd be easy to get struck down in court: It's a violation of 1st amendment rights. (And if someone had deep pockets to pursue it, I'm sure that a similar argument could be used to get rid of most of the CARB restrictions on engine modifications).
  17. Carbine = short rifle, or something with a stock that fires a pistol caliber Clip = Device to load a magazine (either fixed or detachable) Magazine = what actually feeds cartridges into the firing chamber of a gun A GSG-5 is NOT a machine gun, as it will only fire one round with a single pull of the trigger (it also isn't a knockoff of the mp5, it just looks the same) Aux, I would argue that a MG does not necessarily denote the inability to fire single rounds. Group Therapy mode is needed, but I'm sure you wouldn't call the HK-21 *not* a machine gun, just because it has single shot capability.
  18. Well, couldn't find *any* L series engines at my PnP, so someone else is going to have to actually try it instead of me.
  19. I wouldn't have gotten a taurus, but congrats on the purchase.
  20. A Tiburon eh? wish I had been able to read this thread before I hit the PNP today. Do you know if all hyundai's use those projector setups?
  21. This one: Actually looks like you are getting really even flow out of it, and if I'm reading the image correctly, still maintaining a pretty good flow rate still.
  22. I think atleast on our L series engines the biggest gains are going to be people running turbos who can turn up the boost, atleast untill people start building NA engines specifically with the grooves in mind (assuming that testing shows that they work).
  23. It wouldn't mention singh in it then, since only four others do. Three of which only mention it once, and the fourth was about some spanish 'tuners', and the comments were all along the lines of 'why are they doing so much wrong if they've heard of this technique?'
