    Regardless of the platform he started with and the end result, the builder did what looks to be a very good job. My hats off to him / them. . . So that’s how you do it! Terry, any ideas on what the foam was that is seen in the pics?

    Z strut O.D. measurements 240 struts O.D. is 2.02" (taken from '73 strut) 280 struts O.D. is 2.185" (taken from ’76 strut) This is the strut housing measurements.

    The front kinda grows on me the more I look at it. It`s not perfect, but at least someone is doing something different. Now the wide rear view looks cool.

    My very first job as a mechanic AND my first day at a Toyota dealership. I was servicing (valve adjustment) a customers Toyota p/u. I hooked my bump switch to the starter. Hit the swich and the truck ran right into the wall. Foregot to take the truck out of gear AND still had the key on.

    I had one of those moments, but with carb cleaner. I was alone in my old shop, it was late and I thought I was not going to see again. I got both eyes full and could not see for 45 mins after and was two days before I started to see normally again. I could not get my eyes open to flush with water (once I found the bathroom ) Scary, I always think twice with chemicals these days.

    Get a new line from a dealer or try a junk yard. Opinion # 2, bend your own line if you have tubing bender and flaring tools.

    Can anything be done so all the posts that I haven`t read not be lost. Now more info. . . It really sucks when you login and have pages of posts to read but if something happens like say, close a window (by mistake) all of the posts are gone. It REALLY REALLY SUCKS!!!

    Evercoat brand has always done me well. I usually get the ultra lite filler with "mirosperes" (spelling ?).

    When I drilled my (new) rotors, I chamfered the holes to the minimum thickness of the rotors (spliting the difference on each side). This way I will know when the rotors are at the end of their life cycle. Of course they will only be cut once before I replace them with new.
