  1. I might just have what your looking for, but am crunching numbers to see if I can afford switching to a 2JZ and selling of all my performance L28ET goods. After work today I am going to map out/ list pricing for everything needed and everything I would have for sale.
  2. Curious what your power/torque goals with this engine. I am swaying heavily to abandoning my l28et set up and joining the 2jz group.
  3. Any new news? I am teetering on the verge of changing engine choices for the 2jz camp.

  5. Class is in session and I'm loving it! This is what I love about the HybridZ community.
  6. Very cool! It looks like fun, though I know sanding fiberglass is anything but fun. Very excited to see the end result.
  7. One part not under the aero category but much needed just the same, would be an integrated gauge pod built into the top of the ignition column for turbo engine swappers. A 2-1/16" will fit nicely between the speedo and tach without blocking vision of either. After asking virtually every one on here who was previously making fiberglass parts with no luck, I have decided to make my own. Make this part and you will sell many.
  8. I agree. Hoping this works out.
  9. ^^^ Very well put. It makes me feel more relieved that I went this route with my rebuild. Car was blasted, Endura epoxy primed, then filler added as is needed. The epoxy primer has been on the car for two years now in a San Diego garage where it is having body work done, and is holding up great.
  10. I lean more heavily to the 2jz camp as it's a proven stout and reliable engine right from the get go. The turbo and intake set up is more well suited for the S30. The RB's sound is glorious though.
  11. Two of my favorite cars and two of my favorite engines. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8vAxzLApPs
  12. could you reload the pics again please?
  13. I don't have one to trade or sell, but if you ever want to go the 240sx dash swap route, I have a mint condition one here in San Diego.
  14. ^^^ I like this idea and will follow when the time comes to reassemble the car. I have the AZC oil pan as well.
  15. Just to pitch in my two cents worth. As a need for more gauges in the dash due to L28et swap, I went with the approach of filling in the cigarette lighter and hazard switch holes with SEM bumper repair, while sculpting a hole for one smaller 2-1/16" Autometer boost gauge. I used a series one cig lighter had the hazard switch relocated to a newly made aluminum fuse panel cover as well as had a custom bezel made to mimic the dash vents that I am using from a Scion FRS. My dash and center console will be wrapped in alcantara micro suede with french stitching. As such, I needed to have removable bezels for the gauges in order for the alcantara to wrap under into the hole provisions for both the dash and fuse panel cover. My next goal was to create the ignition clam shell gauge pod integrated on smoothly onto the top half with another separate aluminum gauge bezel for an air - fuel meter.
  16. The price has gone up slightly over the years and Kim Bong (Rota rep), will refer you to Racing lab to make the purchase. My Hyper black, staggered set, came to roughly $1100 shipped to San Diego back in April. Not aware of any 5 lug option in these staggered wheels.
  17. ^^^ I have those on car adjustable rear lower control arms from Zrace products, just sitting and waiting to be installed.
  18. The lower half from seam to seam is available from Zedd Findings, www.datsunzparts.com. The top section, I am unaware of, if anyone recreates that piece.
  19. Not to thread jack here, but what are your thoughts on the Michelin Pilot sport ps2's Mike? I am about to get a rear set of performance summer tires for my Rota 17x9.5" rears and in all my researching tires, the Michelins are ranked number 1.
  20. Damn!, Brian those look great!! I just wish there was more tire options in the 16" range.
  21. Thinking they are possibly older Image wheels.
  22. Tube80Z, If you happen to have a pic or two I would love to see.
