  3. Great to see another member from Ontario. Have you looked at the FAQ http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=103860&highlight=coil-over+installation Start there and search. Tons of info on the coilover installation by MM. It is mostly all the same and pretty straight forward. Dayz
  4. I am sure tranny guru's can answer on the exact symptoms, but I'd think you need to rebuild it. Your counter shaft bearing might be dying if I am not mistaken. Temporarily, yes it would be OK to drive 1.5 hour in fourth...I would do it. In the short/long run you will have to find another one or rebuild it.
  5. SS, If nobody has one PM me. I have a 73 fuel tank in the shed with the sender in it. I would have to dismantle it and send you a pic. Let me know, Dayz
  6. Mijanto, I am sorry if I offended you in any way. I still cannot understand what your are trying to say. Members on this forum are more than helpful, I am just trying to help you. I was just saying clearer you are, quicker you will get a good answer. Welcome to HZ, Dayz

  8. That can be taken out pretty easily by you...It is a good reason for a paint job Dayz
  9. JJ, Do you have a shop manual? From the sending unit: - Bigger hose > biggest fuel line > fuel pump/engine - Smaller hose > smaller line (return line) The other line goes to the venting box, or whatever they call it. Dayz
  10. Dismantle it, go to the parts store and buy a bulb that has the same number...pretty easy! Dayz
  11. No real advice...Read on this forum and read the book: How to rebuilt your datsun engine. Have fun Dayz
  12. I will rephrase...sorry. Is the anything to do with the whole diff VSLD from a 240sx? Thanks
  13. Sorry guys to bring back a very old thread. Is there something to do with those vsld from the 240sx. I have just brought on home, Is it worth anyhing? Maybe I could just put it up in a Z R200 long nose. Thanks Dayz
  14. I am sure there is a post on HBZ that has a company where you can buy all hose pieces, and or make your own type of linkage. I would say search...it is mostly 2-3 years old. Dayz
  15. John has the right and perfect way to do it. 1- You need a hammer and a Dolly, various hammer/dolly for various shapes. 2- You can d draw your exact piece in paper/cardboard, cut the paper when you have to stretch the metal and fold it where you have to shrink ( accordion style) the metal. 3- Now you know where to hammer your metal, relax drink a beer and think about your work. 4- Warm your metal just a little, it will become less stiff. Hammer your metal until desired shape. Have fun. 5- Sit down and watch what you have accomplished. Depending of the type and thickness of metal, it will be easier or harder to shape. If you are looking for a perfect work of art, let someone else do it, If you will be satisfied with little less than perfect, go, try it out and have fun. Metal work it so much fun!! Dayz
  16. Thanks Paul, (Braap) I quite enjoy reading your post on engine work! You should do more. Dayz
  17. ...Oups, I meant his ignition coil. I know where the distributor is!! Lol
  18. I have seen other pictures of that engine floating around, But where did he put his distributor? My Guess is on the AC bracket...what is your opinion? Erik
  19. There is a post that talks about balancing, It seems that Nissan did a great job rotating the assembly at the plant, I haven't balance mine and it seems to work well. It is not a high power build N/A. Dayz
  20. Woldson, don't destroy that wagon. I love that car ! I am quite sure a trend will start around that wagon. Dayz
  21. Guys, I have search and couldn't find the thread that was talking about all the different type and material of piston rings and for which application. I thought that BRAAP posted this info a while ago... I am building a stock engine, L24 E31 head-P30 Block and I was wondering what type of ring to use, Cast, poly, chrome... I am lost guys, Thanks Dayz
  22. Check for http://www.tabcobodyparts.com/html/table_of_contents.htm Every supplier buys from them. Not perfect, but works very well in my opinion...just in need of a tweak here and there. Dayz
  23. Remember, Have a thin walled socket. An impact socket will not work. Dayz
  24. Guys, I have search, and cannot find an old thread I've seen years ago. What is the color code of the oem engine paint (Blue). I remember something really close to the original color. Is it Chrysler blue or....Thanks for putting me back on the track. Dayz EDIT: Closest color match is Pontiac Blue ( DE 1610 ) by Dupli-color
  25. Ron, I do have experience. It is the same as a convection oven...trust me it cooks a lot better. Convection microwave would mean that your food would be as hot all over and not burning on the side and frozen in the middle. I am waiting for the prices of conv. Microwave to come down and get myself a another one. (I give the one I had to my parents to try it out, needless to say I won't see it again!!)
