  1. Will be September or October before any proper updates to this but here a brief one anyway: Got my ECU, Link G4+ Extreme with Internal knock control and OBDII upgrades along with 4 bar map sensor, Boost Solenoid, Fuel pressure sensor, IAT Sensor and a Missile select switch for switching between high and low boost settings. My custom Millspec wiring harness in now finished on its way to me now, along with fuse/rely box and LS2 wideband controller. My sump is currently being built for me by Pat1 and my intercooler and radiator are being built by Pro Alloy who made my fuel tank.
  2. Nice work, hope you manage to make some good progress while home despite being busy.
  3. On my standard 260Z I am sure I could fit 8.5" wheels, so 9" must be possible on yours if you get the correct offset and backspacing.
  4. Nice, your getting there, going to look very cool when finished. Not looking forward to the electronics on my swap.
  5. I've had communication issues with them when I had a problem with one of my shocks, but I got there in the end, I don't think they were trying anything on, the replaced the shock and shipped it to Northern Ireland for no cost to me so I can't complain at all. They are probably just busy. Good reminder for me though to order my mounts from them well in advance.
  6. Very similar to my setup (except the plenum) but I'm running turbos which should spool earlier than -5's, hope I can achieve similar results.
  7. Hi Pat I need an oil sump, sent you a PM but you don't reply, I guess its because you haven't noticed you have one, if you see this get back to me please.
  8. I like your idea, I think this could look good.
  9. That sucks, even more so because its the better SV (with the carbs and the round frame) Surprised it split like that, I always though proper welds were meant to very strong.
  10. Will be great to see this killing everything on track once its finished.
  11. Will need some soon, ECU and Custom harness are being sorted first.
  12. Paint looks great, can't wait to see it together.
  13. I'm pretty sure its 2 5/8ths,but confirmation would be good as I'll be ordering soon. I have a 2 1/16 fuel guage and its pretty small definitely smaller than stock Z gauges.
  14. Brake are easy, just need to get the setup balanced correctly, 1" master cylinder, adjustable prop valve and bigger rears. I have AZC 12.2" on the front and 12" on the rear and I can outbrake most cars I meet. Don't go with the silvermine kit, size is good but they mount the wrong way and handbrake cable doesn't work well from what I hear. If there is anther run on the below kit, go for that, that's my setup and I can't fault it, balances out the front setup perfectly and it has a strong parking brake. http://forums.hybridz.org/topic/113199-yet-another-rear-drum-to-disk-conversion-option/
  15. I had my entire engine bay harness redone with new materials and fuses instead of fusible links including some work on the interior harness, cost me £870 (about $1400) including materials and vat, not cheap at all ,but there was a lot of hours put in
  16. Great, don't want you to be out any money, just charge me whatever the cable and shipping costs plus whatever profit you want for sorting it out. It was good that you helped me get the kit sorted quickly so I could get it fitted along with the other work I was carrying out. I see your brake lines are different now, did you make much of a change from the version I have? I need to double check my clearances front and rear when I'm home next, ran out of time to check properly last time I was home. Pretty sure my lines were fine though.
  17. Nice, hope it all goes well. Such a cool looking engine. I like the datalog and ant-lag swtiches, might do this on mine. Are you running AC or are you just using that panel to control the stock setup?
  18. When you do run it again I'll see if anyone from the UK would be interested. I'd like to get a handbrake cable to have as a spare aswel.
  19. Nice one, an RB26 had to make it there, as they are one of the best/coolest looking engines.
  20. I can imagine it takes a long time if you want it all done neat and tidy and have everything double checked. Will be worth it though. What are you going to cover it with? Raychem DR25? Is that a Porsche gearknob?
  21. RHD Japan sell both a set of thin ones (Race) and a set of thicker ones (Daily drivers) Your carbon ones are flat on the backside at the top? How well do they fit, they are meant to curve in a the backside top to follow the lines of the car.
