  1. Do you have any pics of the finished and installed electric setup?
  2. Saw this article with the 240sx using Vitaloni aerodynamic door mirrors. Thought it was interesting, but not sure how it would look on a 240z or if it would provide enough viewing space.
  3. So what is the current situation on this? Did you end up keeping it? (Hopefully)....
  4. Glad to see forward movement. Look forward to seeing some updates in the future as well as (if from time to time) sprinkle in a little of the 914 progress.
  5. The local Craigslist here is chock full of these lowlife, scum bags who seem to be targeting Datsun sales. I have experienced three examples in the last three weeks. This should be reported here. http://www.ic3.gov/complaint/default.aspx
  6. I have seen a friends L28et swapped 280Z start to crack under the newly painted car in the leaded joints above the C pillars close to the top of the hatch. His car was only in the 300+ hp range with very little chassis strengthening.
  7. I am curious as to the width of your rear wheels/tire setup. I have changed my wheel setup and will be going with 17x10" -20 rears and am considering redoing my rear subtle Z quarters with the YZ route. Not sure if this would leave way too much of a gap.
  8. An old "B" rated movie from 1982, Eating Raoul *(NOT Porn)* has a very brief scene with a silver S30.
  9. Wow definitely come a long way. What is the size of rim/tires in the rear and what dash/ console are you using now?
  10. Z-ya any new progress? I tried sending you a PM but was shown that you cannot receive any new messages.
  11. Beautiful car, fantastic fab work. We demand some video!!
  12. I am very saddened to hear of this news as well. I have a lot of gratitude for several members on here who have in one way or another helped me or better yet helped the HybridZ community at large, and John C was at the top of that list. Rest in peace and soooo many thanks for all you did for soooo many here.
  13. I can't vouch for CX racing, but when I was on the hunt for forged rods for my L28et I went into Pauter Machine (local to me) and inquired about their offerings. This company is well known in the Porsche world. I had only began my search at that point, but there are other quality companies as well. http://pauter.com/parts/rods/
  14. Karotta, I just stumbled onto your video of the fiery carnage of aardvark. I am hoping this is just a minor setback and all will be fixed and back in action shortly. Aardvarks custom body work is inspiring to me. And then there is this er, um, yes aerodynamics adjusting video
  15. I agree, that looks great and I assume it works great as well. I am thinking of this route as I have a large single Spal fan to use.
  16. Last months issue (April) of Grassroots Motorsports has a nice 6 page write up on 2016 helmets broken down in price ranges as well as all of the helmet manufactures advertising their offerings.
  17. Are you only interested in 16" or considering 17" as well?
  18. I'm so impressed with your work John! Looking forward to the next update.
  19. I believe a portable steamer could be used to make the skin more temporarily pliable and stretched into place. I have seen them in dry cleaners and alteration shops as well as on some of the fabrication car shows.
  20. ^^ Those look nice, please post up some pics when you have them mounted. I have been pondering the wheel options and find myself daily looking at the Volk TE37 , Work Meister S1 and SSR Professor SP1 R with the nod leaning more towards the TE37's. I am awaiting a response from a friend of a friend in Japan to see if he can get me a better price than quoted locally. I think I am going to go 5 lug for any future wheel options, especially since I have found (Wheel Flip.com) and they offer re barreling of many types of nice wheels. On a side note, Last week I called one last time to Weld Wheels to once again inquire about the weights and width availability of the GT-S series wheels and was told by the lady who answered in a slightly gruff demeanor that the sales rep Deanne would get back to me. No response once again, so that makes three calls in more than a months time with no call back or email. All I wanted to do was gather info and buy some forged wheels from them, but now they can kiss my A_ _. I will wait until I have another wheel manufacturers purchase in place then send Weld a polite email explaining how happy I am to have found out how their customer service or lack thereof really is before I shelled out my hard earned money to them as well as give full credit to their top notch sales rep Deanne.
  21. How often is this dyno test required for you?
