  1. I have a NOS cable and believe a used as well. Do you have the old one? I wanted to confirm the difference between the 240z to 280z which I believe is a slightly larger diameter steel end of the sheath [end where it inserts into the bracket on wheel hub] vs. the 240z. Shoot me an email; palermodavid13@gmail.com
  2. Keith, the Z Rags was referring to was not his but another z [not a member here] whose z was flooded but is running now. That z has custom long tubes [one off] and exhaust to match. Reason I suggested Blake is I believe he ordered extra tubes and flanges speculating he'd build more than the 20 pair for our group buy. Perhaps he'd be willing to sell the unassembled header components-assuming he purchased them as I suspect...
  3. You've begun a great start by simply reading the thread-thank you. I'll chime in with my 2 cents worth. As you know I started the thread and did my best to coordinate and keep it moving along-with that said it was frustrating as many aspects were out of my control. I can say the end results, measured with a bang for buck meter, are [also my opinion] worth it. If I had a do-over and was beginning my LS-x swap I would do it again-albeit a slightly different outcome as I posted in #400 [see below] If we could have a do over then I'd personally do the following; Have the oxy sensors bungs shipped [but not installed] then, drill holes & weld in best position/access/clearance for my z delete the v-band connector on headers shorten or angle the collectors [primarily the right side] more toward the tranny weld a 3" to 2.5" transition directly to the shortened collector and v-band at the 2.5 end [better clearance in the trans tunnel] sell my entire old 304ss exhaust and go aluminum after the 2 to 1 junction using a b-v-band connector [losing a few pounds]
  4. I'm running the later zx 15/16" booster and the pedal pressure/feel suits my needs fine. Able to heel/toe and effectively modulate the brakes both on the track & street and the larger booster masks my lack of race car driver smoothness and makes my heel-toe feel like I actually know what I'm doing, thus making [passenger] perception = reality!
  5. Clint, got your email & payment-door handle packed and will ship by Monday. Thanks, David
  6. Very nice build indeed. Love the high level of attention to detail. Where is Z land? [perhaps you could update your location to reflect where live]. Can't wait to see it assembled!
  7. Looking good Jeff-did you have Ross inspect your welds?! Love the rat rod look too...
  8. I have the same problem, found a black left side awhile back, original Nissan red, white & blue box and all. Been looking for the right side since.
  9. Wiper motor only or do you need the linkage as well? Also, what style is your electrical connector [shape & how many pins]. I believe I have what you need... Shoot me a email; palermodavid13@gmail.com
  10. Assuming for a 240z, I have both. Shoot me an email [palermodavid13@gmail.com] and I can reply with pics.

  14. Clive, I've got a spare tach you can have.
  15. Joe, I'd vote for the black chrome color that Clive used and think it would look great next to the Lemons Sunset. But...I'm not a color guy either so maybe my advice is worth exactly or less than what you're paying for it!
  16. Awesome, detailed, extremely well planned build. Love to see pics of the underside including your; transmission cross member and complete exhaust system.
